It is a curious and remarkable experience, in and of itself, to be one of the pedestrians in the throngs of the street in Kathmandu. Instead, Chitwan provides a different experience. Chitwan National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage site, is a place of attraction.

There are still jungles to discover, and remote jungle safaris can be organized to track animals such as rhinos, tigers, elephants, and crocodiles. Chitwan Adventure also provides other facilities for bird watching, canoeing, and visiting Tharu village.

This is an opportunity to experience and participate in Nepal's incredible biodiversity and the Tharu community. The Kathmandu Chitwan tour is both relaxing and exciting. It enables you to live in the historical richness of Kathmandu or experience the freedom of the wild in Chitwan.

Things need to know before departure

Autumn (October to December) and spring (March to May) are ideal travel seasons for Kathmandu and Chitwan. In the summer, there is sunshine, fine weather, and a clear sky, which is just right for cultural sightseeing and wildlife experiences.

Autumn (October to December):

With good weather, sunshine, and a clear landscape promoting sightseeing and safaris within and around the ancient city of Kathmandu or in the Chitwan forests. Specifications for moderate level with tolerable visual acuity to provide comfortable viewing.

Spring (March to May):

This season brings warm temperatures and blooming flowers. It is the cherry season for nature lovers, Chitwan vegetation is at its peak, and the animals are vivacious.

Although winter (January to February) is cool, this tour is also a good option during winter, especially for travellers who want to be in a less crowded area.

The monsoon season (June to September) brings heavy rainfall, which makes travel and wildlife spotting less favourable due to muddy roads and dense vegetation.

On the Kathmandu Chitwan Tour, a moderate variety of comfortable accommodation choices is available, and both price and choice are acceptable. Lodging in Kathmandu ranges from simple budget lodges to luxury 5-star hotels.

There are standard services, which include comfortable rooms with few extras, and other luxury hotels with more luxurious rooms, excellent restaurants, and services, versus services, such as spas and pools, focused on people's health and wellbeing.

Accommodation in Chitwan is mainly limited to jungle lodges, hotels and traditional hotels, which are located near the national park. A store with modern facilities exists, and many of these have cultural shows and nature tours available right at the lodge.

Upscale hotels provide luxury features such as the availability of swimming pool and dining room service. They are all about comfort, and most boxes contain something to eat, clean and delicious.

Kathmandu Chitwan Tour offers a variety of food experiences that cater to any palate and food limitations. Kathmandu offers many culinary options, from Nepali with accompanying Indian to Tibetan, Chinese, and contemporary Western dishes.

Local ingredients like dal–bhat (lentils, rice and leafy vegetables) are in great demand, and international food is commercially available in most restaurants and cafeterias. Street food like momo (dumplings) and sel roti (rice flour rings) can be characterized.

Most of the Chitwan lodges and resorts provide full board meals (breakfast, lunch and dinner) (e.g. On the one side, there are platters of dishes from Nepali culture, and on the other side, there are platters of dishes from European culture.

Widespread fare includes fresh-cooked vegetable meals, rice, curries, salads, and meat dishes. There are places where you can eat genuine Tharu food to gain local cultural experience.

The Kathmandu Chitwan tour comprises various means of transport to make the journey comfortable and hassle-free. Tour companies commonly organise private cars from Kathmandu to Chitwan and back.

Independent travel is made by car, jeep or van, depending on the size of the group. It takes about 5 to 6 hours of drive, and this distance lets you glance at some hills and rivers, but also below the countryside villages.

Alternatively, some packages include an inbuilt house flight from Kathmandu to the nearest airport, Chitwan (Bharatpur). The flight is 25 minutes long and is linked to time-saving benefits from travel time and over-the-scene aerial photography.

Kathmandu sightseeing is car/van driven transport by a driver (professional), and therefore, car/van comfort and safety are guaranteed. In Chitwan, activities and visits to the park take place by jeep, canoe or elephant.

There is no way around the safety, efficiency and comfort in any form of transport, so not only will your tour be fun but also hassle-free.

Chitwan offers a range of nature adventure and thrill activities to those interested in nature and thrill.

For example, the following are a few of the better approaches for you.
